‘Wolves the Juggernaut’ just keep on going at the top of the Championship and now they have a chance to knock out Premier League opposition in the FA Cup and frankly, who will back against them?
Frankly, Swansea look awful and Wolves have a better squad. Given the relative strength of the opposition, Nuno Santo is liable to rest plenty of his regular XI to keep them fresh, just as he did at Man City in the League Cup earlier in the season.
Danny Batth misses out due to suspension while big-hitters such as Neves, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Douglas, Jota and Bonatini may all be rested. Santo is almost certain to stick with his 3-4-3 formation, or a variation of it, as his outfit is all about organisation.
The young stopper is likely to be given a shot between the sticks with Ruddy getting a rest.
The natural replacement for Batth in this line-up and a danger from set-pieces too.
Conor Coady has been excellent but may finally be given a rest. Miranda had played alongside Coady earlier in the season but Willy Boly has since made that position his own.
Looked good last season and with Boly potentially rested and Miranda perhaps needed in the middle, he may get the chance to impress the boss.
Could probably do with a rest, but Wolves are slightly short of options for this role and so he may continue.
The young man has been called up to replace Barry Douglas on occasion and will likely do so again.
An opportunity for the young man to impress, with regulars Saiss and Neves likely to sit this one out.
Can provide solid support for Price; a repeat of their performance at Man City in the League Cup would be enough here.
Replaced by Helder Costa in this position recently and so may be allowed to come back in from the beginning and do his thing.
A rare chance to impress perhaps, though Jota may not want to be rested.
Leo Bonatini is pretty much immovable in terms of the league team, but the cup brings a chance for the young man to impress.
