Newly Promoted Hull City Planning A Shock Swoop For Manchester United Defender

Share

Hull City are reported to be preparing to make a swoop for Manchester United defender Phil Jones in the summer.

The 24 year old joined Old Trafford in 2011 under Sir Alex Ferguson and went on to impress in his debut season. He became one of the popular names during the Scott’s tenure but has struggled in the recent times. He barely managed 13 games under Louis Van Gaal and has been left out of the England squad for Euro 2016. Now with the appointment of Jose Mourinho, the future of the player has come into doubt but it is believed that the Portuguese is interested to keep him at the club.

Hull has been newly promoted to Premier League and they are looking to bolster their team in order to adapt to life in the League. Not sure if United will be willing to let go of Jones but a loan move may be possible depending on the financials and the terms of the contract.
