Arsenal 4-1 Fulham: Gunners bounce back after Anfield humiliation

Arsenal returned to winning ways by beating fellow London opponents Fulham 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium on New Year’s Day. Around the 70th minute, Fulham pulled one back when a Sessegnon cross found Kamara at the far post unmarked. The home side restored the two-goal lead through Aaron Ramsey nine minutes later, and Aubameyang sealed things with a customary goal at the Emirates.

This win keeps Arsenal in fifth position, six points clear of sixth-placed Manchester United, who have a game in hand tomorrow. About the big picture, it was important for Emery’s men to win after a humiliating loss at Liverpool three days earlier.
