Murty to make 6 changes – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Rangers lineup to face Hibernian

Predicted Rangers Lineup To Face Hibernian In The Scottish Premiership

It was a busy window for Rangers as they look to continue their good run in the league and overtake Aberdeen in the race to finish behind Celtic. The players signed by manager Graeme Murty must be an encouraging sign for Gers fans who have had to put up with a lot over the last few years.

Rangers have only lost 6 games all season, but in a league like the SPL they know that that is far too many. Many Rangers fans may just be thinking about getting to the end of the season and rebuilding from there.

Nevertheless, the focus will now be on the weekend’s clash against Hibernian.

Probable Rangers XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

GK – Wes Foderingham

The former Swindon player is a constant in goal for Rangers, and may not have too much to do against Hibs.

LB – Declan John

Welsh international Declan John has settled quickly into the Rangers system, and will be looking to keep his place this weekend.

CB – Russell Martin

Experienced defender Russell Martin must be the first name on the team sheet already for the Gers. A class act that will provide real leadership.

James Tavernier

CB – Danny Wilson

Scotsman Danny Wilson should start alongside Martin, continuing their partnership.

RB – James Tavernier

James Tavernier is a solid player for Rangers and will provide energy on the right-hand side. The former Newcastle player will be looking to get forward whenever possible.

CM – Sean Goss

Another of the new signings that can slot straight into the team, Sean Goss is a lovely player to watch and is an excellent addition to the Rangers side.

DM – Jason Holt

A steady player in the middle of the park, Holt has played well this season for the Gers. He will hope to do so again against Hibs.

LW – Daniel Candeias

The Portuguese born Daniel Candeias is a silky and talented attacking player who can score the odd goal, a key member of the Rangers team.

Daniel Candeias

AM – Josh Windass

After a hat-trick in the Scottish Cup early this week, the confidence of Josh Windass will be sky high. He will be hoping to score more against the Edinburgh side.

RW – Jamie Murphy

Murphy has swapped Brighton for Glasgow and will be looking for game time to repay that journey. He is a strong and determined player who will add experience to Rangers.

ST – Jason Cummings

New signing from Nottingham Forest Jason Cummings will be looking to start again after leading the line in the cup game earlier in the week.
