While the transfer window is a busy period for all, media too is not left behind. German newspaper Bild has made Toni Kroos’ move to United their main agenda. According to the German paper, the Spanish Media and the Telegraph have claimed that Manchester United are ready to pay €53m for the player.
Be it media going crazy or just coincidence, but the German’s transfer has been made into a sort of circus involving many different clubs and no concrete confirmation.
While new rumors keep coming up every few days regarding the German player, claims have been made that he is not happy at Real Madrid and is looking to move out of the club.
Miguel Serrano from Ok Diario has made some claims which are not just unexpected but also pretty far fetched. He claims that Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG have contacted Kroos’ agent and have planned to put in a bid of at-least €50m.
Serrano went on to say: ‘The three clubs showed to the representative of Kroos their willingness to engage in talks with Real Madrid at the end of the season and put on the table a negotiating offer of around €50m. The whites signed the world champion in the summer of 2014 for €25m. Kroos had only one year contract with Bayern and didn’t want to renew, so the price of his transfer was much lower than his actual market price.
In addition, both Chelsea and United, and PSG were also willing to improve the wages of German midfielder , who receives at Real Madrid a salary of€6m per season and is out of contract in June 2020.’
Only time will tell whether Kroos will be staying at Real Madrid or moving from the club.
