Manchester United’s Dream XI To Start Next Season Featuring Real Madrid And Several Other European Stars

Share

It has been one of the worst seasons for Manchester United and every United fan wants this season to end as soon as possible.

The Dutch gaffer Louis van Gaal was supposed to bring back the glorious days at the Old Trafford, but has bought the complete opposite of it. With players’ poor form, wrong tactics and injuries, the UEFA Champions League spot is far from gone now.

With just one game to play in the premier league, the club will be hoping to get a fair result out of it. The next season will bring the fresh hopes for the fans and the rumors around Manchester are suggesting that Jose Mourinho will be replacing the Dutch philosopher from the season. And if that happens, the fans will have a huge sigh of relief for sure.

With new manager comes new players, the transfer window always brings some tasty rumors from all around the world and as usual, many players are linked with Manchester United.

So, here we are suggesting a lineup for Manchester United with all the rumored players linked with the club (including the existing one)-

Goalkeeper: David de Gea-

If this list was to be prepared in the January transfer window, the flying Spaniard might have not featured in the lineup. But as he recently signed a new contract with the club, the fans all around the globe are happy to see him stay at the club.

The Spanish international has been a stand out performer for the club this season and single handedly took the team where they are right at this very moment. Whosoever comes to United next season, he will be staying right here.

Right Back: John Stones-

The Evertonian star has been a great prospect for the English national team. He has his entire career to show for, and for this, joining a big club in England would help him a lot. There are rumors that with the arrival of Jose Mourinho, the team will be bringing this 21-year-old English professional to the team.

He surely will be a great addition to the squad. Many would argue over his position, but the young lad is capable of playing as a full back too. Matteo Darmian has been struggling a lot lately, and that’s why, John Stones will be the perfect contender for the spot.

Center Back: Chris Smalling-

The 6-year-old towering defender has been one of the great performers alongside De Gea in the side. His defensive prowess took United to a different level defensively. He does need to improve his heading abilities, but otherwise, the player has been one of the positives for Manchester United this season.

His tough tackling ability and quick reaction helped his team a lot this term and even if the new manager comes, he will retain his position at the back.

Center back: Rafael Varane-

The French defender has been linked with Manchester United for so long now, and it won’t be a surprise to see him in the Red’s shirt in coming years. He missed out many games this year for Real Madrid through injury, but the 23-year-old French international has shown the entire world what he is capable of.

His techniques both on and off the ball is brilliant. He positions himself well and that allows him to intercept the ball very easily from the opposition’s player. At this very young age, the towering defender has a fit and muscular body and through that, he can easily take on the English attackers.

Left Back: Luke Shaw-

The 20-year-old English full back missed the entire season due to his injury he picked up against PSV in the Champions League draw. The former Southampton man is a quick and very agile full back who knows everything about playing in the premier league.

Shaw has the tendency to play an attacking brand of football, and being a quick sprinter, he makes life difficult for his opponents. His decision making and defensive skills are world class and that makes him the prior man in our list for the mentioned position.

Defensive Midfielder: Daley Blind-

The Dutch skipper played almost his entire season as a full back, but to be very honest, he is never made for that position, especially in the premier league. He struggled a lot in terms of physicality, but playing him as a defensive midfielder might work for the squad in coming years.

The Dutch international is a highly creative player who can set the players for making some threatening forward runs. This season, he lacked in his physical attribute, but he was praised for his pinpoint passing abilities. Being a central defender, he was always an option for a pass in the heart of the team and that is the main reason, he should play in the central midfield.

Central Midfielder: Ross Barkley-

Another Evertonian player! He is having a pretty good time at his current club, but to be very honest, his stay at the Merseyside club will hamper his style of play and will not improve at all. He is the product of Everton’s youth system, but if United comes knocking the door, he must leave the side without having a single doubt.

With Michael Carrick not having many years in his footballing career, this Englishman will be the perfect one to replace the midfield maestro. His physical presence and his creativity will help the Devils a lot and that will help the player as well as he makes the players around him to get more involved in.

Right Wing: James Rodriguez-

With an unhappy time at the Spanish capital Real Madrid, it is rumored that the Columbian sensation will leave the side and is willing to join the Premier League. It is now understood that James is not made for Zidane’s plans and to be honest, he must leave the club as soon as possible.

With Manchester United struggling to find goals this season, this 24-year-old might help the side to score just like the good old days. His pace and his techniques on and off the ball are blistering and that could surely help the side in near future.

Left Wing: Anthony Martial-

The most expensive teenager is currently the top scorer of the team this season, and he is a serious threat for the oppositions’’ defence His lightening pace and shooting skill were delight to watch in the entire season.

In his very first season, he has become the crowd favourite. The arrival of the new manager will surely not affect his position in the future as he is bound to be the United’s best someday.

Attacking Midfielder: Wayne Rooney-

The Manchester United skipper didn’t had a great season this term, but he still is a great leader for the side. He was extremely poor in his show the entire season, but a new manager and a new tactic would surely define the hardworking Englishman.

Hewas injured for most of the time this season, and even when he was on the pitch, his performances were not that great. He was experimented in the entire season and still the manager cannot find a perfect position for the player. If the mentioned signings are completed in the coming window, he might work as an attacking midfielder in the coming season.

Striker: Zlatan Ibrahimovic-

PSG are trying everything they can to keep the ‘ever-young’ Swedish striker in their squad, but it seems like Zlatan has made up his mind. With his contract expiring at the end of the season, many English clubs have started showing interest in the striker, including West Ham United.

His arrival would surely change the course of the league and the team will have a perfect striker in their squad. He will surely be a great addition for the team, and him alongside Rooney, James and Martial, the team could do the impossible.
