Manchester United Transfers – Nani Offered To Monaco While Valencia Wants Chicharito

Share

Reports have emerged that French side AS Monaco will sign Manchester United winger Nani. The newly promoted club who have already signed the likes of Radamel Falcao, Eric Abidal, Joao Moutinho and Jeremy Toulalan will receive Nani with both hands as they look to add depth to the squad.

Vadim Vasilyev, Monaco’s sporting director talking to the French paper L’Equipe, claims that Manchester United have offered the Portuguese International to AS Monaco,  he said:

“He [Nani] has been proposed to us. He is a very good player, but there have been no talks so far.

“We have already changed our group quite a bit and we also want to offer opportunities to our young players. We still have time to make a few alterations before the end of the transfer window, if needed.”

Nani has been in the midst of speculations for sometime now, however things din’t reach places as Nani continued to remain at Old Trafford. The 26-year old joined the Red Devils back in 2007 and since then, he had been a bit part player as the likes of Ronaldo and Giggs were never overlooked by Sir Alex and although a couple of decent seasons under his belt after Ronaldo’s departure, Nani never really lived up to the expectations.

Monaco would be a carrer changing move for Nani as United have already singed Zaha and the emergence of Jesse Lingard have further raised questions on his future. United are believed to want £13m for Nani.

In other  news, La Liga side Valencia are thinking about a loan proposal for United forward Javier Hernandez (also known as Chicharito). This Mexican striker joined United in 2010 and since then he has appeared 117 times for the Red Devils and has a tally of 50 goals beside his name. Behind Van Persie or Rooney, he has remained an important supportive striker for the United.

In such a scenario it is expected that United would reject any proposal regarding Chicharito from Valencia, if and when they reach the club.  The latest buzz is that Moyes will turn down such an offer as he will risk losing both Hernandez and Rooney should Chelsea continue to pursue the England International.
