If reports from The Times are to be believed, coveted Portuguese play maker Domingos Quina is set to trade the blue side of London for the Red half of Manchester. The 16 year old who was signed from Benfica three seasons ago is rumored to have walked out of Chelsea and has refused to return to training.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool were amongst the others interested in Quina but United have apparently presented him with the best offer, convincing him to make a move. The reason for the attacking midfielder’s ‘walk-out” remains unknown. However, a number of fans have raised concerns over the club’s investment into their academy bearing no fruitful results with a number of players moving for the lack of chances.
Quina returned from international duty on Tuesday and intends to train on his own till his move to either of the aforementioned suitor is finalized.
