Manchester United Star Reveals He Painted the Picture of How Sad he was at the Club

Former Manchester United star Angel Di Maria has taken an opportunity to speak about his time about his life at Manchester United when he spoke to French newspaper Le Parisien. He said that he is happy at PSG and also revealed that he painted the picture of how unhappy he was at Manchester United.

He also added that his dream of PSG was fulfilled after the move from Manchester United. Di Maria was supposed to join the French giants last season but FFP stopped PSG from signing him from Real Madrid.

When asked if it was true if he was unhappy in Manchester, Di Maria told “Honestly, we were not happy. In the beginning, yes, a little. Then things got complicated. Life in England was a little difficult. It is not easy for a South American. Some do it very well. And for others, adaptation is more difficult. I didn’t have a very good relationship with the coach (Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal), so I think the decision to join Paris was the best solution.
