Manchester United Set To Complete Move With Championship Club Nottingham Forest

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is reportedly ready to leave Old Trafford to take over Championship side Nottingham Forest.

Daily Mirror has reported that the club icon is close to taking charge of Nottingham Forest who don’t have a permanent manager right now. The Welshman has been assistant manager to Louis Van Gaal and was expected to take over from the Dutchman if he could complete his term at Old Trafford. However Van Gaal was sacked days after winning the FA Cup and the club officials feel that Giggs is not yet ready to take charge of the club.

Jose Mourinho’s arrival meant that the Portuguese boss is likely to keep his backroom staff and while there are reports that the “special one” offered him a role as an assistant manager but he has decided to move out and be the head coach of some other club instead. Ryan Giggs spent 29 years at Old Trafford and his exit would be a sad event for many United fans.
