Manchester United: Moyes, Fellaini, Neville And Some Common Sense

Share

Managing Manchester United will be a job that only a few fortunate managers in the world could have got and David Moyes has been trusted with this role. It will be a huge promotion for the man who has served Everton relentlessly for so many years and has kept them afloat in the top half of the table with very little resources. But it will certainly take some time for Moyes to get adjusted in his new role and get used to the tremendous pressure that comes with the job. But one thing which will definitely help Moyes to cope up faster in his new attire will be the inclusion of some of his old colleagues from Everton. Therefore we list some persons whom Moyes can take with him to United from Everton.

Should Fellaini follow Moyes to United?

Marouane Fellaini– The lanky Belgian has been an absolute revelation for Everton this season and for a long time his name was being linked with other clubs. Now with his boss shifting to United, maybe he will also want to change colours and he is the exactly the kind of player that Moyes would want in his team. United’s midfield has been quite timid of late and his stature, power and aerial ability would prove to a huge blessing for the team. As per early reports, Maoyes has already expressed his desire to get Fellaini in his new club and if he succeeds in his attempt, it will be beneficial to both the parties.

Leighton Baines– Although Manchester United have one of the most experienced left backs in their team in the form of the French Man Patrice Evra, Moyes would absolutely want to add Baines in his armoury. The prolific defender who has scored five goals and created a further seven would be vital addition to the United side. Moyes has always had high regards for him and his addition would certainly allow Evra a breathing space.

Phil Neville- This man is no alien to Manchester United and he is the veteran of 386 appearances for the Red Devils in an eleven year span. He is expected to join Moyes as a backroom staff and could be key figure in the settling of the manager at his new home for his close ties with both Moyes and United.
