Vidal to United?

Former Mancehster United midfield target Arturo Vidal is all set for a new contract at Juventus reports Sky sports.  The Chilean midfielder Vidal who was voted Juventus’ player of the year last season was once targeted by United and Real Madrid, but Juve slapped a £50 million price tag and kept him at the club and if reports are to be believed he will extend his current contract which runs until 2016 and to reward his loyalty Vidal will get an additional five million euros per year.

“Vidal arrived in Turin and the move was met with some scepticism,” Juventus club administrator Giuseppe Marotta said to Tuttosport. “But he has done very well and now he should be rewarded.

“There have been big clubs in Europe interested in him, but in the coming weeks, his contract will be prolonged and economically adequate.”
