Pep Guardiola will be happy with the way things are going as his mainstays Gabriel Jesus, Kevin de Bruyne, and Yaya Toure were all on the scoresheet on the night.

This win takes City to 3^rd place, 4 points away from Arsenal, almost securing them a place in the top-4. Liverpool and Arsenal will now fight for the remaining position in the elite competition unless the Citizens lose their final league game by a big margin, and Arsenal and Liverpool win their respective games.

Hardly had a save to make as he was mostly used to just pass the ball around on a comfortable night for City.

Played as a full-back to decent effect at the start of the game and slotted into the midfield with ease when Zabaleta was brought on.

Picked up a slight knock that looked worrying but put in a solid performance that helped his side to a clean sheet on the night.

With Kompany doing the dirty work, Otamendi only had to keep the ball running and snuffing out counter attack situations early in the bud.

Did extremely well to help add width to City’s attack but needs to work on his set piece delivery.

Performed at his best in what could be his last appearance at the Etihad. Created a number of other chances that could have easily been put away.

The ball to give Gabriel Jesus his goal was just exemplary and that set the tone for the rest of the game for De Bruyne, who bossed it.
