However, Kutucu has stated that he would like to remain in Bundesliga with his contract set to expire in 2022 (h/t The Sun).
The 19-year-old endured a wonderful season with Schalke’s U19 side, which earned him a promotion to the main team later.
Overall, Kutucu racked up 20 goals and 5 assists across all competitions, along with 3 goals and an assist with the senior team.
He also had a similar amount of success in the 2017/18 campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing 8 assists for the youth squad.
Kutucu had his initial breakthrough with Schalke’s U17 side, adding up a goal and assists tally of 18. He is a traditional striker while also being able to play as a second striker or a winger.
Sergio Aguero, City’s long-serving striker, will go down as one of the best in the club’s history and his records speak for himself
With the Argentine entering the twilight of his career, Pep Guardiola has an option off-shelf called Gabriel Jesus, who has already shown everyone that he can emulate the success of the former.
The 22-year-old would be an indisputable starter in near future while the Cityzens can still fortify their attacking line-up by adding the Turkish teenager, who can evolve into a big player under the tutelage of the Spanish manager.
