Juventus To Sign Brazil Legend Bebeto’s Son

Share

Juventus have reportedly sealed a deal for attacking midfielder Mattheus – the son of Brazil legend Bebeto from Flamengo.

Reported transfer fee is around two million Euros. Mattheus is currently a Brazil U-21 international.

18 year old wonder kid has been linked with the Serie A champions for a long time now. Flamengo finally agreed for the sale as Mattheus’ current contract expires at the end of 2013, after Bebeto and MFD, the agency managing Mattheus’ career, made it clear that the youngster would not extend his contract in Brazil.

Mattheus was famous even when he was a child as Bebeto’s famous cradle-rocking celebration at the 1994 World Cup was dedicated for him.

Will he follow his father’s footstep to become another legend in the beautiful game’s history? We will wait and see.
