Predicted Leicester City line-up to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League

Leicester City were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and the Foxes have failed to win a game in the last two weeks. The club have endured a mixed run of form after the demise of their owner but have still done well under Claude Puel.

The manager will now turn his attention to this weekend’s clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The Eagles haven’t been in great form themselves and Leicester can definitely reignite their spirits by picking up an away win.

Team News

Jamie Vardy is injured and will most likely miss out on this game. Daniel Amartey and Matty James are the only other absentees. Nevertheless, Claude Puel can field a pretty strong XI.

Probable Leicester City XI

Manager: Claude Puel

Formation: 4-3-3

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

The Dane will definitely keep his place between the sticks. He is their best goalkeeper.

Harry Maguire

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

The right-back will continue to raid down the flank. He has made a massive difference in the defence.

Harry Maguire (CB)

Maguire should return to the line-up in place of Wes Morgan. The English defender is fit and could start this game.

Jonny Evans (CB)

Evans should partner Maguire at the back for this game. He has looked good after being handed a regular role.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

He has been the Foxes’ most consistent defender this season. Chilwell will cause all sorts of problems down the left flank.

Ben Chilwell

Nampalys Mendy (RCM)

Was unable to play at his best in the last game. Mendy needs to put in an improved performance against the Eagles.

Vicente Iborra (CM)

Iborra needs to show more aggression and urgency in his play. He will continue in central midfield.

Wilfred Ndidi (LCM)

Ndidi has been a massive asset for the Foxes this season. He will surely start this game. None can match his defensive work rate.

Demarai Gray (RW)

Gray will continue down the right flank and cause all sorts of problems with his pace on the ball.

Demarai Gray

Kelechi Iheanacho (ST)

With Vardy out, the Nigerian should continue to lead the line. His ability to run behind the defenders could prove useful in this game.

James Maddison (LW)

The English midfielder has been their best source of supply this season. He will start on the left wing.
