West Ham have made a better start to the campaign than last season and are level on points with their opponents for the week, Manchester United.
The Hammers played a dull 0-0 draw at Villa Park and will believe that they’re better than that. They won in the same fixture last season and will be hoping that they can do the same this season.
A win might take them into the top-4 and will be a massive statement and set a marker for the rest of the season.
Arthur Masuaku is suspended for this game after his red card against the Villans. Michail Antonio is nursing a Hamstring injury.
Lucasz Fabianski – West Ham
The Polish international saved the Hammers so many points last season and is likely to do the same this season.
Ryan Fredericks – Right-back
The Englishman’s made a far better start to this season after getting a feel for Premier League football.
Issa Diop – Centre-back
He was outstanding in this fixture last season and was just as good the last week.
Angelo Ogbonna – Centre-back
The Italian will continue partnering alongside Diop.
Aaron Cresswell – Left-back
With Masuaku out, this will be a good opportunity for Cresswell.
Declan Rice – Holding midfield
The England international has quickly become one of the best young holding midfielders in the league.
Mark Noble – Central midfield
The engine room and the captain. This is a big game and Noble needs to play.
Manuel Lanzini – Attacking midfield
The Argentine is fit and he’s their most creative player and provides balance to the entire side.
Felipe Anderson – Left-wing
The Brazilian is a definite starter and will have to be at his best against Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Sebastien Haller-Centre-forward
His battle with Harry Maguire will be a very interesting watch.
Andriy Yarmolenko – Left-wing
He’ll look to cut in from the left. He hasn’t made a great start made he was great in the same fixture last season.
