Predicted Leicester City line-up to face Tottenham in the Premier League

Leicester City were only able to manage a 1-1 draw against Fulham in the Premier League. Claude Puel’s side showed good form but a renewed Cottagers team under Claudio Ranieri are proving hard to beat.

The Foxes will now turn their attention to the big clash against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. Spurs returned to winning ways against Southampton and are in good form. Claude Puel needs to be wary of a number of potent threats.

Team News

Leicester City have a couple of top stars out injured. Rachid Ghezzal, Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy are all out of the clash against Spurs. Jonny Evans is also out injured and will most probably miss this game.

Probable Leicester City XI

Manager: Claude Puel

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

The Dane will surely keep his place given he has been a massive presence at the back for the Hornets this season.

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

Pereira was handed a rest against Fulham and should return to the side for this game. His raids down the flank will cause all sorts of problems.

Wes Morgan (CB)

With both Maguire and Evans out injured, Morgan will continue to captain the Foxes at the back.

Caglar Soyuncu (CB)

Soyuncu did well in his start against Fulham. He will continue to partner Wes Morgan for this game.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

Chilwell has been the most impressive defender for the Foxes this season. He will surely continue at left-back for this game.

Ben Chilwell

Nampalys Mendy (RCM)

Mendy’s work rate has been impressive in the last two games. He should now aim to maintain consistency.

Wilfred Ndidi (LCM)

Ndidi’s defensive work has been a massive asset for the Foxes this season. He will surely keep his place.

Marc Albrighton (RAM)

Albrighton’s inswinging crosses into the box will pose all sorts of problems for the Spurs backline.

James Maddison (CAM)

Came back from injury with a bang and now has back to back goals in the Premier League. He will surely keep his place in the line-up.

Demarai Gray (LAM)

Gray was rested against Fulham last time out and he should return to the line-up for this clash. His pace could cause all sorts of problems for Spurs.

The Nigerian should continue to lead the line against Tottenham Hotspur. His runs in behind should be fruitful for Leicester.
