Predicted Everton line-up to face Watford in the Premier League

Everton were unfortunate to pick up a win against Newcastle United in the mid-week clash. The Toffees were only able to manage a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. But they have otherwise looked very good under new manager Marco Silva.

The manager will now turn his attention to this weekend’s clash against Watford in the Premier League. The Hornets are on the back of a loss against Manchester City in the Premier League as they visit Goodison Park.

Team News

Only James McCarthy and Morgan Schneiderlin are out injured. Everton have no other injury concerns at the moment and can deploy their strongest side for this game.

Probable Everton XI

Manager: Marco Silva

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jordan Pickford (GK)

Did well but his mistake cost them against Liverpool in the derby. He will still keep his place for this game.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

Coleman’s raids down the flank should cause all sorts of problems for the Hornets. He will continue down the right flank.

Kurt Zouma (CB)

Zouma will continue at the back after impressing under Marco Silva this season. He has been vital in defence.

Michael Keane (CB)

Keane was handed a rest against Newcastle United and he will return for this game. His absence was duly felt at the back.

Michael Keane

Lucas Digne (LB)

It’s a wonder how Digne is yet to pick up an assist this season. He could do so in this game.

Idrissa Gueye (RCM)

Gueye is one of the indispensable members in this squad. He will surely start in central midfield.

Andre Gomes (LCM)

Gomes’ arrival has sorted out most of Everton’s midfield woes. They must ensure they sign him on a permanent basis.

Theo Walcott (RAM)

Walcott has handed a rest against Newcastle United after picking up a slight knock against Liverpool. He will return for this clash.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM)

Was unfortunate not to get a goal or an assist. He will continue to sit behind the striker and dictate the play.

Bernard (LAM)

Was rested against Newcastle United and should be back for this clash.

Richarlison (ST)

The Brazilian scored once again and has continued to flourish in a striker’s role. He will continue to lead the line for the Toffees.
