Bournemouth vs Fulham Predictions: Bournemouth line-up

Fulham have been mathematically confirmed as relegated, but that doesn’t mean that the club have nothing to fight for. If nothing else, the Cottagers have their pride and that’s what Bournemouth need to keep an eye on. The Cherries are on a decent run, having lost just two of their last five games.

But with just four games left in the season, they’ll have to pull up their socks if they are to finish in the top half.

However, the fact that Bournemouth face the worst defence in the Premier League should help them with that, especially after their win over Brighton.

The Cherries steamrolled the Seagulls, absolutely dominating them on all fronts, with a 5-0 win.

Callum Wilson, Ryan Fraser and David Brooks played a part in every goal, showing their talent once again. It was great to watch and manager Eddie Howe will be hoping they can repeat it once again.

Team News

Five players are out for the season for Bournemouth, including veteran Simon Francis, Charlie Daniels and Lewis Cook. The fact that Diego Rico is also a part of the five means that the club has no bonafide left-back in its ranks.

Probable Bournemouth XI

Manager: Eddie Howe

Formation: 3-4-3

Artur Boruc (GK)

While Asmir Begovic has returned to the fold of late, the 31-year-old has failed to impress and Boruc has taken his place

Nathan Ake (CB)

Easily among Bournemouth’s best players this season, the former Chelsea man has been a rock at the back.

Steven Cook (CB)

With injuries elsewhere, Howe switched to a back-three and Cook found a way back onto the team-sheet.

Chris Mepham (CB)

He intially struggled after his move from the Championship but with time, Mepham has done brilliantly for the Cherries.

Adam Smith (RWB)

Talented and one of the only full-backs who is not injured, Smith did well in the last game and should keep his place.

Jefferson Lerma (CM)

Another talented midfielder, the 24 year old arrived last summer and slotted right into the Cherries’ starting eleven.

Dan Gosling (CM)

With Andrew Surman and Lewis Cook out for the season, Gosling has been a consistent presence on the team-sheet when not injured.

Ryan Fraser (RWB)

Not a left wing-back by trade, the 25-year-old did very well against Brighton and against a relegated Fulham, he should repeat the performance.

David Brooks (RAM)

Another talented former Championship starlet, Brooks has adjusted brilliantly to the Premier League, producing 13 goals so far.

Josh King (LAM)

While King stepped up during Callum Wilson’s absence, the 27-year-old has struggled of late and is on a three-game drought.

Callum Wilson (ST)

Talented and very lethal in front of goal, Wilson has shown his class this season, producing 21 goals in the Premier League alone.

Tom Landry once said "Football is an incredible game. Sometimes it's so incredible, it's unbelievable." Football is and always will be the beautiful game. What every child understands, yet every adult struggles to, is that it is a game that defines the nature of the universe. But that's just me.
