Hemed Out, Brown To Lead The Line – Strongest 4-4-2 Brighton Line-up To Face Everton On Sunday

Predicted Brighton and Hove Albion Line-up To Face Everton In The Premier League

Brighton made a slow start to the Premier League this season, but manager Chris Hughton will hope his side can pick up three points at home, against a seemingly struggling Everton. Moreover, the Seagulls have won two of their last four matches, and will be hoping to make the Amex Stadium an impregnable fortress on Sunday.

The team will come into this fixture with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal away from home. As a result of that, their morale for this fixture could be low. However, they would try to make sure that they make of the most of this opportunity against Everton.

Team News

Brighton continue to be light up front, with Sam Baldock and Biram Kayal being unavailable. Hemed will have to miss this match owing to a three-game suspension he received for violent conduct after stamping DeAndre Yedlin in the win over Newcastle. Thus, Brown is expected to continue in his place.

Besides that, Hughton has no major concerns and will be fielding a full-strength squad to face the Toffees.

Here’s How Brighton Might Lineup To Face Everton On Sunday:

Manager: Chris Hughton

Formation: 4-4-2

Mathew Ryan (GK)

Mathew Ryan should man the net for Brighton as they face Everton on Sunday as there is no real reason to drop him from the playing XI.

Markus Suttner (LB)

The defence will remain largely unchanged. So Suttner is expected to assume his role at left-back.

Markus Suttner

Lewis Dunk (CB)

Dunk should be a part of the heart of the defence. He will be tasked with ensuring that Everton attackers stay away from the goal.

Shane Duffy (CB)

Partnering Dunk should be Duffy. The duo has a strong partnership with a good understanding, and that should help them keep a blunt Everton attack at bay.

Bruno (RB)

Bruno should complete the back line at his usual right-back position.

Bruno

March (LM)

The midfield line will start with March on the left. He has been quite strong in that area and will be looking to continue his form on Sunday.

Dale Stephens (CM)

Stephens should take up the central midfield role, and will have to be dominant enough to establish and maintain control over the midfield.

Davy Propper (CM)

Propper could partner Stephens in the heart of the midfield, and provide support and cover for the defence. He will also look to be a part of the offensive plays up front.

Dale Stephens

Anthony Knockaert (RM)

Anthony Knockaert has been solid and will be vital going forward against Everton. The Toffees will have to handle him carefully.

Pascal Gross (CAM)

A lot of the chances created will depend upon Gross. His attacking plays are incisive and sharp, which should provide Brown with plenty of opportunities.

Brown (CF)

With Hemed unavailable, Brown should fill the void as the centre-forward. He would be looking to get his name on the scoresheet more than once, against a struggling Everton defence.
