Helder Costa In, Ivan Cavaleiro Out – Strongest Wolves Line-Up To Face Norwich City On Tuesday

Predicted Wolves Line-up To Face Norwich City In EFL Championship

Having lost top spot to Sheffield United on Friday night and having failed to reclaim it on Saturday after losing at QPR, the pressure is on Wolves here to show how good they really are.

It was suggested here that maybe Nuno Espirito Santo should have played his first choice side at Man City in the cup to test out their ability but instead, they were rested. Having lost at Loftus Road anyway, he may feel the Etihad trip was rather a missed chance to measure his players properly.

Their recovery mission here is a tough one at Carrow Road, the boss most likely sticking with his 5-2-3 formation with a big night needed from the front men:

Formation: 5-2-3

Manager: Nuno Espirito Santo

GK – John Ruddy

6 clean sheets in the league this season for the ex-Norwich man. A lockout at his old home though would be one of the highlights of the season for him.

CB – Danny Batth

An influential member of the side, he arguably took a while to convince Santo, though he is now once again a very regular member of this side.

Danny Batth

CB – Conor Coady

Another regular member of a settled back line, but this line will face tiredness and suspensions at some point which will be a huge test for the squad as a whole.

CB – Roderick Miranda

A class act in this division, but definitely can be rattled with enough pace and ambition.

RWB – Matt Doherty

I still wonder whether or not Wolves will look for a slight upgrade in January, with a new attack minded right-back.

LWB – Barry Douglas

An excellent addition to the squad this season and he continues in good form.

Barry Douglas

CM – Alfred N’Diaye

Romain Saiss has been a regular this season so far but now that he is suspended, N’Diaye should get a start here.

CM – Ruben Neves

The young man has quite a big future and I would have loved to have seen him against Man City’s midfield last week.

RW – Helder Costa

The left-footed wizard is back and may well replace Ivan Cavaleiro on the right.

Leo Bonatini

LW – Diogo Jota

The best thing about Wolves this season in my opinion, and another start beckons.

ST – Leo Bonatini

The Brazilian is doing a very fine job.  Bonatini should start here again and an away goal from him at this point of time could be massive.
