This is like the 5oth time we are reporting something on Higuain. It was reported some 13 days ago that an Arsenal delegation had flown out to Madrid to finalise the Higuain deal, but other than a few thousand rumours spreading across England and Spain, the player is yet to arrive at London.
However, Higuain senior quoted by the Fox Sports Argentina, has admitted that Madrid have given a green signal for the deal and the Argentine is now ever so close to making the long awaited switch to the Emirates.
“We have been given permission by Real Madrid to negotiate with Arsenal. I will luckily be able to see my son in the Premier League soon. There isn’t anything signed yet, but the negotiations are very advanced,” he said.
“We haven’t spoken about the contract yet. Arsenal have made a great offer, in the same way as Juventus.”
