Arsenal are set to complete a deal for the highly rated centre-back Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers.

According to reports from the Express, the Gunners have agreed on a deal to bring the player into the Emirates this summer. Holding has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in the recent weeks with reports suggesting that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger sending scouts to watch the player in action several times last season.

According to the reports from the Daily Mail, the Gunners offered an improved bid of £1.2m after having their initial bid of £750,000 rejected by the club. However, a report by the Express states that the Gunners have finally agreed to pay up £1.5m.

The Gunners have had some advantage with regards to signing the player as according to the reports, Holding preferred a move to the Emirates over the clubs like that of Tottenham Hotspurs, Everton and Celtic who were keen on signing the 20 year old.
