Gracia to make 1 important change – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Watford line-up to face Burnley

Predicted Watford Line-up To Face Burnley In The Premier League

Watford host Burnley at Vicarage Road this Saturday and the Hornets will be aiming for a victory as they are without a win in their last 3 games. After losing by huge margins against Arsenal and Liverpool, the club were held to a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in their previous game. The team’s morale will be low and it certainly won’t help that they have to face an in-form Burnley side this weekend.

The Clarets are 9 points ahead of Watford in the points table and they have maintained their perch in the top-10 for a long time now. It remains to be seen if they manage to finish the season in the top-10.

Probable Watford XI

Manager: Javi Gracia

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Orestis Karnezis (GK)

Karnezis has been a solid deputy for Heurhelho Gomes and even though the latter is back to fitness, Gracia chose to deploy Karnezis ahead of him. It is likely that he will retain his spot between the sticks for this game.

Daryl Janmaat (RB)

Janmaat has been a strong presence at right-back and he is expected to keep this spot this weekend.

Sebastian Prodl (CB)

Prodl has been rather effective at the heart of the defence for Watford and he is likely to be deployed in his usual role at the back.

Daryl Janmaat

Adrian Mariappa (CB)

Mariappa did not last for the entirety of the game against Bournemouth but he is expected to return to the starting XI for this game.

Jose Holebas (LB)

Although Holebas struggled against the Cherries, he is capable of making an impact and the player is expected to find his name in the starting line-up.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (CM)

Doucoure has been a lethal player with his trickery and control in the midfield area and he is a sure starter for the game against Burnley.

Etienne Capoue (DM)

Capoue is likely to hold his spot and partner Doucoure in the middle of the park.

Roberto Pereyra (LW)

Having scored a screamer against Bournemouth, Pereyra is likely to make it to the starting XI this weekend.

Richarlison

Richarlison (AM)

Will Hughes played this role last weekend but with the club being desperately in need of a win, we might see Richarlison occupy this spot against Burnley.

Kiko Femenia (RW)

Femenia has been a potent attacker for the club lately and he is expected to start on the right-wing.

Troy Deeney (CF)

Given the situation, Deeney is likely to lead the line for the Hornets.
