Celtic will look to progress to the next round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers when they take on FC Alashkert at the Parkhead on Wednesday night.
The Hoops go into the game with one foot already in next round, having beaten the Armenian outfit 3-0 in the first leg last week. They will come into the game high on confidence following their 4-1 triumph over Belgian side Standard Liege in a friendly game this past weekend. Manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that his side is able to carry the momentum and finish the job against Alashkert on Wednesday.
Here’s how Celtic could line up against the Armenians.
Having been given a rest for Saturday’s friendly against Liege, the Scottish custodian should be reinstated to the playing XI, in place of Scott Bain.
The January arrival had a decent enough game against the Belgians at the weekend. Will be hoping to build upon that on Wednesday.
With Dedryck Boyata still away and Marvin Compper facing fitness issues, the Bosnian centre-half is expected to continue in the heart of the three-man backline.
The Norwegian youngster has begun the new season just like he ended the last one, with impressive displays. More of the same will be expected of him.
Another player who has started off in fine fashion, the Scotland international caused all sorts of troubles for Alashkert last time out and will be a threat again this week.
In the middle of the park, club captain Scott Brown is almost certain to start. Will provide the bite and the aggression in the midfield.
The French midfielder should continue to partner Brown in the middle of the pitch. Has the ability to impact the proceedings with his distribution and forward movement.
The Scottish international has started off on a great note and has been a real positive influence in the attacking third for the Hoops. A definite starter.
The full-back has been a real threat down the left-hand side with his piercing forward runs and quality end product. Expect him to cause problems to the visitors on Wednesday.
The Frenchman has looked sharper and fitter heading into the new season and seems to have rediscovered his goalscoring form.

The club-record signing has hit the ground running and his partnership with Dembele has been one of the best features of Celtic so far. Expect it to continue this week.
