Done Deal: Chelsea Complete £16m Transfer For Midfielder

Share

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has already begun clearing out the players who do not fit in his plan. The club has officially announced the departure of Mohamed Salah to AS Roma.

The Egypt international joined the club in 2014 after an impressive show at FC Basel but failed to live up to the expectations. He appeared in 19 games for the Blues and was sent out on loan to Roma last season. Previous to that he was also sent out on loan to Fiorentina. Getting familiarized with the Italian football the move is probably a good move for Salah.

The 24 year old scored 15 goals for Roma last season and the Italian club was obviously interested in getting in on board full time. Now Roma has signed him on a permanent deal but the transfer fee is yet to be disclosed. The announcement came on Chelsea’s website and twitter account. We can expect more exits to follow Salah in the coming days.
