Predicted Tottenham Line-up To Face Leicester City In The Premier League

Following yet another year of new highs and lows, 2017-18 season of the Premier League is finally set for its conclusion on Sunday where each team will be contesting for one last time in the competition.

Having already sealed a Champions League berth by defeating Newcastle United at Wembley on Wednesday night, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will be eyeing to repeat the same against Leicester City and sign off with a victory before entering their new stadium next season.

Probable Tottenham XI

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The veteran Frenchman has been Spurs’ No.1 for many seasons now. He is one of the league’s best custodians and would now be eying to end the season with back to back clean sheets prior to the World Cup.

Davinson Sanchez (RCB)

The young Colombian has stepped up spectacularly in Toby Alderweireld’s injury absence, registering a first-team slot alongside Jan Vertonghen in a central defensive role.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

The experienced Belgian has not been involved much in the first-team action due to injuries. However, he might be handed a start this weekend.

Toby Alderweireld

Jan Vertonghen (LCB)

Has been a great influence in the team and is tipped to start the weekend encounter at the Wembley Stadium.

Lucas Moura (RWB)

The winter recruit from Paris St. Germain has not been handed enough opportunities to flourish and is still adjusting to life in English football. The Brazilian, therefore, has to step up his game and keep knocking the first-team door.

Moussa Sissoko (RCM)

The Frenchman has not lived up to the expectations since his big-money move from Newcastle United a couple of seasons back but should be handed back to back starts due to the lack of options in the middle of the park.

Eric Dier

Eric Dier (LCM)

The Three Lions star missed the Magpies clash due to illness but is likely to return to action for the final fixture of the league season.

Ben Davies (LWB)

The Welshman has been impressive throughout the campaign and replaced Danny Rose quite efficiently in the left-back role. Rose is fit to start but has slipped down the pecking order.

Christian Eriksen (RAM)

Orchestrates moves in and around the box and has enjoyed another productive campaign with goals, assists and goal-bound movement from the flanks.

Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen

Dele Alli (LAM)

The youngster has been a little inconsistent this season but has stepped up on major occasions. Would want to end the season on a higher note.

Harry Kane (ST)

The English marksman has already netted 28 goals in Premier League but is still 3 goals behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who is the clear frontrunner to win the Golden Boot award. However, Kane will not give up, would he?
