Dier To Replace Dembele – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Line-Up To Face Hull City

After a strong start to the season, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have lost a bit of their vigour going into the busiest part of the campaign in December. They have picked up just three points from the last three games and are fresh from a loss on their trip to Old Trafford at the weekend. They will now face a struggling Hull City side that is desperate to move out of the drop zone. Pochettino will hope that his team can find some form in this game and that they can keep up the pressure at the top of the table. The manager is expected to use a strong side for this game, just a couple of days after their loss to United.

In early team news, Pochettino will miss the services of Vincent Janssen who picked up an ankle injury recently.  Erik Lamela has been out of action for a while and might be back for this game but might not be risked while the manager revealed in his press conference that Mousa Dembele, who limped off at Old Trafford, will be assessed late before the kickoff.

Hugo Lloris:

The French star is one of the best players in his position in the league and he will start this game for Spurs against Hull.

Kyle Walker:

The ever energetic full-back has been in decent form this season for Spurs and he should keep his place in the side for this game.

Toby Alderweireld:

Was strong at the back for Spurs at Old Trafford and will hope to have a similar game, and help his side to a victory this time against Hull.

Jan Vertonghen:

Finding some form after his partner came back from injury, Vertonghen put in a strong performance against United and should keep his place in the side for this game.

Danny Rose:

The English international is one of the best players in the league in his position and is a regular starter for Pochettino keeping his place in the side for this game.

Victor Wanyama:

The former Southampton man put in a superb shift in the midfield against the Red Devils and Pochettino will hope that he will stay fresh for this game against Hull City.

Eric Dier:

An unused substitute in the game at the weekend, Dier is an important part of the squad at the club and he should start this game and replace the injured Dembele in the midfield.

Moussa Sissoko:

The former Newcastle man could not affect the game in the second half at Old Trafford but he should be given a start in this game against Hull.

Dele Alli:

The English international was not at his best against Manchester United and he will hope to have a better game this weekend against Hull City.

Christian Eriksen:

Should have done better to test the United defence on the night at the weekend but he will get his chance to hit back in this game on Wednesday.

Harry Kane:

Had a below-average game at the weekend but the English international is a natural goal scorer and will look to get on the score sheet this week against Mike Phelan’s side.
