Predicted Tottenham Lineup To Face West Ham United

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to heap more pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea with a win, when they take on London rivals West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium on Friday night.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are 4 points behind the Blues and they can cut down the gap to just one with a win over the Hammers who have been struggling in recent weeks. Tottenham come into the game on the back of a 2-0 win in the North London derby against Arsenal and are on a 9-game winning run. With their sights firmly set on the Premier League title, nothing less than a win will do for the Lilywhites.

Team News

No big concerns for Pochettino on the injury front, with Erik Lamela and Harry Winks the only two players unavailable. Danny Rose is back in training and maybe in for a return to the playing XI.

Probable Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI:

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The Frenchman is in contention for winning the Golden Glove at the end of the season and he will want to add to his clean sheet tally of 15, to further his chances.

Eric Dier (CB)

The Englishman played the previous game in the midfield, but with Mousa Dembele fit and firing again, he should return to backline of a three-man defence.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Arguably the best defender in the Premier League, there is no question of him sitting out a game, especially at such a crucial stage of the season.

Jan Vertonghen (CB)

The back three will be completed by another Belgian international, Jan Vertonghen. He had an excellent outing against Arsenal and will look to carry on from where he left off.

Kyle Walker (RM)

Walker has been left on the bench for the past few games but expect him to make a return to the line-up in place for Kieran Trippier.

Victor Wanyama (CM)

The midfield powerhouse has had an exemplary first season with the North Londoners. He will be gunning to help his team with another excellent display.

Mousa Dembele (CM)

The Belgian made an appearance from the bench having returned from injury against the Gunners. He will be reinstated to the starting XI.

Ben Davies (LM)

While Danny Rose is fit again, Pochettino would most likely want to ease him into the team after a long time on the sidelines. So expect Ben Davies to hold on to his place and Rose to make a cameo.

Christian Eriksen (CAM)

The Danish international has been brilliant in the second half of the season. Has created 100 chances so far this season and has scored 8 times in the league. Undoubted starter.

Dele Alli (CAM)

The PFA Young Player of the Year scored against Arsenal last weekend and will look to add more to his 17-goal tally for the season.

Harry Kane (ST)

The English marksman has scored 21 goals so far in the league and will be aiming to score against the Hammers and enhance his chances for the Golden Boot award at the end of the season.
