Predicted Tottenham Line-up To Face Bournemouth In The Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur will attend to domestic matters on Saturday against Bournemouth at Wembley, after the latest international break.

Spurs are currently third in the Premier League. They sit 5 points behind Manchester United and Manchester City with 7 games played, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be hoping to convert Saturday’s match into a victory. Putting up three points on the board will be necessary, especially since their temporary Wembley home has not provided them with the best of results thus far.

Tottenham do not have too many injury concerns ahead of Saturday. They have a brilliant team and many of them will be buzzing after their recent exploits for their countries, especially England’s Harry Kane.

The Tottenham forward will look to continue his impressive form, after having scored 11 goals for the club already.

Team News

Tottenham will have to do without the services of Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and Victor Wanyama. Moussa Dembele remains a doubt.

Here’s How Tottenham Might Line Up Against Bournemouth On Saturday:

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Hugo Lloris (GK)

Lloris continues to be strong for Tottenham. He has made a couple of vital saves in the new season, and will look to make the same impact against Bournemouth.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Alderweireld has been an imposing presence at right-back for Pochettino, thus leaving the manager with no reason to not hand him a start.

Toby Alderweireld

Davinson Sanchez (CB)

The summer arrival has linked up well with Alderweireld and Vertonghen since arriving. He is physically strong as well, and is likely to start against Bournemouth.

Jan Vertonghen (CB)

Completing Spurs’ defensive line should be Vertonghen. He has been strong at the back while also providing support going forward.

Kieran Trippier (RWB)

Trippier did look shaky on some occasions, and on Saturday, he will have a strong chance to show his power.

Eric Dier (CM)

Possibly one of the key players for Spurs, Dier’s impact has been tremendous. He will be tasked with screening his defence and recycling possession in the middle of the park.

Harry Winks

Harry Winks (CM)

Winks only keeps going from strength-to-strength under Pochettino. His main job will be to provide a creative outlet against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Ben Davies (LWB)

Davies has thrived in Rose’s absence, and with the player continuing to recover, Davies will continue as left wing-back.

Christian Eriksen (RAM)

Spurs have done extremely well with Eriksen in the new season. He will be responsible for his trademark incisive runs forward, to supply Kane with ample chances.

Dele Alli (LAM)

Alli’s creativity and strength will certainly come into play as he lines up beside Eriksen to support Kane up front.

Harry Kane (ST)

The man of the moment, Harry Kane, is in red hot form going into this game against Bournemouth. With Eriksen and Alli’s support, the striker should get his name on the scoresheet a couple of times.
