Predicted Tottenham line-up to face Fulham in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to maintain their winning start to the campaign by claiming the scalps of Fulham when the Cottagers visit Wembley this Saturday. Harry Kane was once again cursed by his August hoodoo and failed to get on the scoresheet, but Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli saved the day with a goal each.

Spurs won the game against Newcastle United 1-2 and will be looking forward to beating a Fulham side that were unfortunate to come away with a point against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Hugo Lloris (GK)

Despite winning the World Cup and returning late for pre-season, Lloris started the game against the Magpies and looked confident in goal. He will certainly retain his spot against Fulham.

Serge Aurier (RB)

The former PSG defender supplied a sublime assist last game and will be looking to snatch the right-back spot away from Kieran Trippier.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

The Belgian was left on the bench for the previous game but should see himself start this game.

Jan Vertonghen (CB)

Rarely on the scoresheet, Vertonghen picked up a special goal for the Lilywhites in the previous game. The Belgian should once again be partnered with his compatriot.

Ben Davies (LB)

Davies is currently Spurs’ undisputed left-back and that should see him return to the line-up against the newly promoted side.

Mousa Dembele (RCM)

Another Belgian who was restricted to a bench a role after his involvement in the World Cup. He should start this game.

Eric Dier (LCM)

Dier brings a sense of stability and security in the middle of the park. His ability to pop up with goals out of the blue makes him an enticing option.

Lucas Moura (RAM)

Heung-Min Son’s involvement in the Asian Games should see Moura receive a regular run of fixtures. This is his time to step up and show the manager what he is capable of.

Christian Eriksen (CAM)

There’s no substitute in the squad for Christian Eriksen. He either plays or he doesn’t, and not playing him could cost Spurs their game.

Dele Alli (LAM)

Despite the criticism around Alli’s performances, the man tends to deliver whenever Spurs need him the most. He’ll be aiming to pull off his entertaining goal celebrations in front of his own fans.
