Deal Done! Arsenal Completes Their Second Signing Of The Summer

Share

The 18-year-old Nigerian wonderkid Kelechi Nwakali has recently posted a photograph of him with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and also with their defender Laurent Koscielny.

He stated that his “new life begins” at Arsenal.

It is believed that Nwakali has completed a move to the Emirates at around £3m from Diamond Football Academy. Nwakali was named as the player of the tournament as Nigeria lifted the Under-17 World Cup in Chile last year.

The Nigerian was reportedly chased by Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but Nwakali has signed a a five-year deal with the London club.

Speaking after signing his contract in March, he said:

“I just came back from London, I have signed a five-year contract with Arsenal.

“So many teams were interested in me but it has been my dream at a tender age to play for Arsenal.”
