Confirmed! Arsenal Involved In A Double Deal

Share

Arsenal has officially confirmed the loan departure of two its players this season. Julio Pleguezuelo and Stefan O’Connor are set to leave Emirates on a season-long loan.

Julio Pleguezuelo has been the captain of the Arsenal U-21 team last season and while he has not yet made any senior appearances for the Gunners, the player is set to join RCD Mallorca at Spanish Segunda Division.

Stefan O’Connor will join MVV Maastricht, a Dutch side for the rest of the season. O’Connor has a single appearance for the first team when he came on as a substitute against Galatasaray in the Champions League. He also spent the whole of last season on loan at York City.

Both the players are 19 years old and Arsene Wenger will be expecting that they develop into a better player when they return after the season. Arsenal are yet to make any notable signing other than Granit Xhaka in this transfer window.
