Chelsea Summer Transfers Heats Up – Club Director Comes Up To Defend His Stars

Share

AS Roma Sporting director Walter Sabbatini has poured water on Chelsea’s hopes for the summer transfers as he stated that Chelsea’s prime targets Rajda Nainggolan and Miralem Pjanic will be staying at Roma next season.

Pjanic and Nainggolan are Chelsea’s incoming manager Antonio Conte’s prime transfer targets as he tries to rebuild the squad this summer. However the Italian manager is set to be disappointed as according to Sabbatini neither of the players want to leave Roma.

The duo play important part as Roma’s key players and seems like Roma too are looking to keep both the player in the club.

Nainggolan is Chelsea’s main target this summer and  would have been an ideal signing for the next season as he fits the kind of players Conte would like to train. With 11 goals and 11 assists to his credit Pjanic was another main target for Conte and Chelsea would have two talented duo to save their season next. However with this news all are left hanging.
