Thibaut Courtois is unhappy at Chelsea and with goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon. It has been a while since the news of Courtois leaving the club has circulated, however the main reason for the Belgian player to leave seems to be the coach and nothing else.
Courtois expressed his reasons for looking to leave the Stamford Bridge this summer to the incoming manager Antonio Conte and while Conte discussed the same with the Chelsea authorities who stated that Lollichon’s post is not up for debate. Thus, leaving the manager with no other choice, than to sell the club’s first choice goalkeeper.
Courtois does not want to move to Paris Saint Germain, however, he does not have any problems moving to Spain. While the player is valued at £50million, Athletico Madrid is highly unlikely to meet Chelsea’s valuation of the player, even if they are interested in signing Courtois back.
