Why Omer Faruk Beyaz must become Chelsea’s next transfer priority

According to the Sun, Turkish U16 international Omer Faruk Beyaz is attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Premier League outfit Chelsea.

Chelsea aren’t a side who fancy developing youngsters. Instead, they have always preferred to turn to the transfer market for seasoned, proven professionals who are guaranteed to deliver the required results.

The prime example of this situation is a piece of business that the Blues completed earlier in the winter transfer window. The purchase of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund can be seen as a star signing but realistically, Pulisic is only 20 years old.

If Chelsea can pay £58m for a 20-year-old who is barely proven, Callum Hudson-Odoi certainly deserves a chance. Having spent all his youth years in the English footballing scene, he obviously has a better understanding of how the game works here.

But obviously, since he’s 18, he hasn’t got enough game time. This bias against young players needs to change and the best way for this to happen is if they find the player who could possibly make the club reconsider their policy.

As suggested by the Sun, Turkish youth star Omer Faruk Beyaz of Fenerbahce has been identified by the Chelsea staff as a potential future prospect. Born in 2003, this 15-year-old is generating interest from teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Juventus and even Aston Villa who have all had scouts watch his games recently.

Omer is one of those players who seems faster with the ball at his feet than without it. He is a dribbling master and his maturity and presence of mind are that of a seasoned footballer. His movement and eye for a pass are both excellent while he has a very good finish as well.

He is certainly destined to be a star in the future and Chelsea will be able to prove many people wrong by developing a young talent exclusively to play in the Chelsea first-team.

There is a large amount of competition for the player’s signature but if Chelsea are able to sign him up, it would be a great move for their future.
