Since the start of the transfer window, Chelsea has been majorly linked with a move for Antonio Rudiger from Stuttgart. However the deal is yet to be completed and with uncertainties present, the club is looking at other defensive targets as well.
The report from FC Inter News states that the Blues have contacted Inter Milan for Juan Jesus. The Brazilian defender is 25 year old and Chelsea wanted to know if the player will be available for sale in the summer. Jesus joined Inter in 2012 from Internacional for a fee in the range of €3.8m. Initially he has been a regular in the first team but last season he found it difficult to maintain his spot and ended the season with 23 appearances.
The report claims that the incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been interested in Jesus even during his time at Juventus and now he may be able to sign him if he makes a bid of minimum €10m.
