Chelsea and Manchester United have been looking out for Antoine Griezmann for some time now. The player during his time in Real Sociedad too was the target for two Premier League clubs however both the clubs failed to sign him then.
United are looking to bring in an attacker into their squad this season while Chelsea’s incoming manager Antoine Conte is looking to overhaul the entire squad in the summer. Hence, both the clubs are now ready to make fresh offers to the player after Griezmann managed to impress everyone with his excellent form in Atletico Madrid.
Atletico however, may try to keep a strong hold on the player, although they may consider an offer which has a ‘record breaker’ written as a tag.
The France International appeared 46 times for Atletico this season and managed to score 29 goals, with another six assists for the club.
