It seems Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho just can’t stop attracting controversy at the media and is still all over the news. After the bans and fines and all the negative news that he and his side were part of, it is time to focus on the football, as Chelsea prepare to face West Ham and the Portuguese boss will no more be the nice guy.

In the press conference prior to the game, the self-proclaimed Special One said, “For me I don’t go to the crisis direction. I go match after match – no more than that.”

“You don’t get from me, good and funny headlines. I’ll treat you the way I treat your bosses.

“Private life and stupid things that you bring to the light – not you personally – I don’t like it so we go to a different level of professional relation.

Further, he talked about his players starting to get back to form and stated, “Every point is really important. It’s a difficult situation [in Champions League, Premier League is different – there are 38 matches. In Premier League we are not afraid to lose matches, we are going to play normal.

“The victory against Aston Villa was a very good result, the draw against Kiev was a positive result. To give you one example – Matic went from being on the bench vs Villa to be the Man of the Match for Uefa three days later.”

When asked if Belgian international Eden Hazard would play against the Hammers, he replied,

“Both clean sheets based on good team work [not just the goalkeeper]. I try to best decisions for the team, I analyse what I think the game can be, I try to reduce the unpredictability of every match. You are right, this is not about defenders it’s about the team as a team and they defended well in both our last matches.”

“Hazard was part of that team that kept a clean sheet. I don’t know [if he’ll play on Saturday].”

The west London side also played Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the number 10 role in the league when they beat Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge and Mourinho stated that he was great pushing into the opposition half, though he lacked tactical awareness when defending.
