Chelsea Loan Army: Top 5 Players Antonio Conte Should Have A Close Eye On

Share

Chelsea is one of the richest clubs in the world of football and it does not come as a surprise that they have one of the biggest squads in Europe. The club is known for sending out a high number of players on loan and Conte did not change the system and has sent out 38 players on loan this season. These players are now vying their trade all over Europe and some of them have been impressive early this season. Here are the 5 most impressive Chelsea players out on loan this season:

Tammy Abraham (Bristol City):

The England U21 international, Tammy Abraham, has been in sublime form this season for the Championship outfit Bristol. He has shown great confidence leading the attack of the side and has been prolific in front of goal, scoring 9 already in the domestic season. At 19, he has loads of time to improve on his game and is likely to be the next big thing at the Bridge in years to come.

Charlie Colkett (Bristol Rovers):

The former Youth Team captain at Chelsea, Colkett was sent out on loan away from the club for the first time and he has wasted no time in cementing a starting XI place for Rovers this season. He had some impressive performances from the bench and is now a regular starter for the side, scoring three goals already this season. He is touted as a future player for Chelsea and he has done no harm to his reputation away on loan.

Lucas Piazon (Fulham):

One of the most exciting prospects for Chelsea out on loan, Piazon has made a superb start to his time at Fulham on loan. He is now a regular starter in the midfield for the side and has helped them to 15 goals, scoring a couple, showing his quality in front of goal this season. His skill and passing ability has seen him make more key passes than every other Fulham player except Tom Cairney and is now a player who can help Chelsea in the future.

Alex Kiwomya (Crewe):

Playing for League Two outfit Crewe Alexandra, the pacey striker picked up an injury early this season but has come back to cement a place in the starting lineup at the club. He has 5 goals in 11 appearances for Crewe this season and is growing on to become an important player for the side. At 20, he will only improve as a player and can easily be a top class player for Chelsea in the future.

Tomas Kalas (Fulham):

Another player from Chelsea on loan at Fulham, Kalas has been solid at the back for the Championship outfit. He helped Middlesbrough to a promotion last season and has started this season with some fine form for Fulham. He has made more clearances than any other player in the team, while also getting on the score-sheet in the impressive victory over Huddersfield making him a top prospect for Chelsea in years to come.
