Chelsea Latest: Roman Abramovich Has Singed Lady Gaga For £1.5 million

Yes it’s true! Chelsea owner Abramovich has landed Lady Gaga For £1.5 million, but not to play football or to be a physio but to see her perform in a private function during the New Year’s eve in one his private Yatch.

Reported by the Sun, Lady Gaga will play a 90-minute set during a New Year’s Eve party which will also host to a number of celebrities including Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Beyoncé Knowles and husband Jay-Z expected amongst the 300 guests in attendance. It is alleged that Abramovich’s partner Daria ‘Dasha’ Zhukova is a big fan of the singer and that it is a gift to her.

“Gaga is one of Dasha’s favourite performers so it was a big deal to land her. He paid a million over her usual asking price to compensate for the unsocial hours,” according to the Sun.

Previously Abramovich’s parties hosted the likes of “Kings of Leon” and “Prince”, but this is the first time Lada Gaga will be performing and will be interesting to check out the outfit she pulls off during the event.

In other news, The Express reports that the Blues have offered a long-term contract to youngster Islam Feruz who was attracting interests from Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Spurs. He is a Scottish Under-21 international and is considered to be one of the brightest prospects in the country and the five year deal that Chelsea have offered will keep him at the Bridge for a foreseeable time.
