Chelsea Latest Including – Striker Target Attracts Interest From Serie A Clubs And Mourinho’s Interview

Samuel Eto’o has now attracted interests from Seria A clubs Napoli and Inter Milan, apart from Chelsea. Russian club Anzhi want to offload the player as they look to diminish expenditure at their club.

Both the player and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho share a mutual respect for each other and the player have stated his wish to join the London outfit. But now both Napoli and Inter have expressed their interest to sign the striker and as it seems the race would go on for some more time. The Dailystar reports that, both Napoli and Inter Milan are interested in Eto’o with the Milan giants already making contact with the players agent.

Chelsea have always wanted Wayne Rooney from Manchester United but David Moyes has taken a hard stance against selling the England international. In case Mourinho fails to land his primary target, he would wish to sign Eto’o from his Russian owners.

When Chelsea take on Hull City later today at the Stamford Bridge in their first premier league match of the season, it will be a homecoming for their manager Jose Mourinho. The Special One has always maintained that he feels home at Chelsea and after three turbulent years at Real Madrid, he is back again at his favourite club.

It would certainly be an emotional moment for Mourinho and he has made no efforts to hide it. Mourinho said that he would take all his players out on a tour of the Stamford Bridge before the game.

“I will go to Stamford Bridge today, so I can feel something now, and then something tomorrow,” he stated.  “Some of the boys have never been there, don’t even know where the dressing rooms are. We will train there so that they can work out where everything is. To be back at Stamford Bridge will be a different feeling for me. I will go to my dug-out, in my stadium, with my people. I will have to control it a bit – but only for couple of minutes. After that, I have to be focused on the game. The fans probably will focus on me because I’m back. But after that they have to support the players. We have to try and make Stamford Bridge a tough place for everyone to play.”
