Celtic FC News: Scott Brown of Celtic has offered his thoughts on Brendan Rodgers departure and praised the new caretaker manager Neil Lennon.
Rodgers made a shocking exit from Celtic Park to become the new manager of the Leicester City. He has signed a contract with the Foxes that expires on 2022.
The former Celtic player Lennon has been appointed as the interim manager till the end of the season.
His first match as the Hoops manager ended in a victory against Hearts last night. The Hoops produced a goal in the injury time with the help of Odsonne Edouard thus defeating the hosts 2-1.

“It is always going to be a shock when a manager leaves a club. But we need to just continue what we are doing.
“He has left us in a great situation. We have won seven trophies out of seven since he came in and now we need to make sure that we need to keep going on for him as well.”
Brown added that he really appreciated Rodgers for his work and encouraging the players.

“But we have another great manager coming in who will build on what Brendan has done and hopefully keep it going until the end of the season.”
“The gaffer is very positive and he just wants us to continue and keep doing all the things that we are doing.”
The former Hibernian manager has previously managed Bolton and the Hoops where he was pretty successful.
Brown further added that Lennon had won trophies with Celtic earlier, and that is why he was brought back.
The Hoops are currently eying an eighth league title in a row and they lead the Premiership table with 66 points.
