The weekend kicks off on Friday when Mainz host Nuremberg in what is a battle between two mid-table sides.
There are two big matches on Saturday as surprise package Frankfurt take on the in form leaders Bayern Munich. Bayern dropped their first points of the league two gameweeks back when they were defeated 2-1 by Bayer Leverkusen , but have since bounced back in style.
They won 3-0 at Hamburg last weekend and then crushed French side Lille 6-1 at home in the Champions League during the week.
However, Eintracht Frankfurt will be no pushover, given they sit in third place on the table with six wins from 10 matches.
They have scored 21 goals in just 10 games so far in their league and their main man Meier will be the key for them if they are to take any points from the fixture.
Bayern themselves have scored 30 goals in 10 games and one can expect a free flowing,attacking game.
The other big game is between Schalke and Werder Bremen.
Schalke came back from 2 goals down to earn a hard fought point against Arsenal in the mid week Champions League fixture and will be confident heading into the game. They take on Werder Bremen who did not have a great start but are now on a 3 match unbeaten run and have leapfrogged into 7th in the table.
In the other match on Saturday, Augsburg are at home to Champions Borussia Dortmund and anything less than 3 points for the holders will derail their pursuit of retaining the title even more.
The game to watch on Sunday sees Bayer Leverkusen travel to Volkswagen Arena to take on Wolfsburg.
