Bruce to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-4-1-1 Aston Villa line-up to face Hull City

Predicted Aston Villa Line-up To Face Hull City In The EFL Championship

Aston Villa have had an excellent rest over the last two weeks, as nearly all of the players that were doubtful for their last game have recovered from their injuries during the break. This is convenient, as they will need to keep all their players fighting in order to finish strongly this season.

It is a timely boost for Villa as they look to catch Cardiff for that automatic promotion spot apart from looking to at least confirm their place in the playoffs.

Manager: Steve Bruce

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Sam Johnstone (GK)

The young English goalkeeper has been excellent for Aston Villa this season and will start in goal this weekend.

Alan Hutton (LB)

Alan Hutton is back and will be prowling up and down the left-wing for Villa once more.

James Chester (CB)

James Chester should start here in central defence alongside John Terry.

John Terry

John Terry (CB)

John Terry has been pretty much an ever-present for Villa this season and he will be there again on Saturday.

Ahmed Elmohamady (RB)

Elmohamady is a constantly unpredictable right-back, both offensively and defensively, offering a threat going forward but often being inconsistent defensively.

Albert Adomah (LM)

Adomah has been in excellent form for Aston Villa all season and has provided the creative spark that has changed many a Villa game this season.

Birkir Bjarnason (CM)

Bjarnason has come into this Villa team and has controlled the midfield for the last couple of games – an easy pick for central midfield.

Conor Hourihane

Conor Hourihane (CM)

Always hard working and is solid in the middle of the park. Another easy choice for Steve Bruce.

Robert Snodgrass (RM)

A Premier League quality player in the Championship. On his day, he can change a game by combining both craft and creativity.

Jack Grealish (CAM)

A player that forms the creative backbone of the Aston Villa team. Oozes class on his day but seems to pick his days inconsistently. However, he has been absolutely outstanding this season and should continue this form.

Scott Hogan (ST)

The Irish forward should come back this weekend as Grabban has had a chance in the first-team without inspiring many. Hogan should get his chance to shine again.
