Brilliant Arsenal Injury News: Ramsey And Monreal Can Feature Against Everton

Share

 Arsenal Injury News:

Arsene Wenger sat down for his usual pre-match press conference ahead of their trip to Merseyside this sunday to face Everton. Arsenal have two crucial games coming up which could define their season. A tough away fixture at Goodison park, a match that could be vital in the race for fourth place and a Champions League qualification as Everton are just 4 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand and an FA Cup semi-final against Wigan.

While English Internationals Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott are almost out for the season, Wenger revealed a wonderful news for the Arsenal fans this evening. Aaron Ramsey, who was in the form of his life before getting a thigh strain during the 3-1 win at West Ham on Boxing Day is all set to return for first team action against Everton.

Although the Welsh man might not be on the starting XI, hopefully he might be involved in the second half which might prove to be vital to gain full match fitness before the crucial FA Cup tie.

Elsewhere, there are also positive news with regards to Monreal, Diaby and Ozil. Read Arsene Wenger’s full interview here:

on Aaron Ramsey…

Aaron and Nacho Monreal are back training with the squad, so that is good news. Hopefully they will be available for Sunday. Diaby is back on the pitches, so that is good news.

on any others…

At the moment that is all because the other injured players are not back, not Wilshere, not Ozil. Everybody else is alright.

on Laurent Koscielny…

He is still out. The earliest [he will be back] is next week, the latest is the week after.

on Wilshere and Walcott…

They are alright, they are doing well. It is still early for them, of course for Theo the season is finished and Jack is progressing well.

on Mesut Ozil…

The FA Cup will be too soon for him, but he will hopefully be back soon after that.

Baring any further setbacks, Arsenal might field the likes of Ramsey, Ozil, Koscielny together and have Monreal and Diaby on the bench. A lineup that has got what it takes to help the Gunners to lift their first silverware since Viera lifted the FA Cup back in 2005.
