Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that their aging midfielders namely; Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky will leave The Emirates this summer.
The Czech Republic star Tomas Rosicky who joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2006 hasn’t played a single minute of this season’s campaign due to injury.
The club’s skipper made eight substitute appearances in an injury-hit campaign this term, while the French midfielder Mathieu Flamini who enjoyed his two spells at Arsenal has just 16 appearances to his name this season.
Speaking at his pre-match media conference ahead of Arsenal’s home clash against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, Wenger provided an update on the ageing trio of midfielders.
“We will lose three big personalities,” Wenger said.
