Real Madrid are believed to be in pursuit of Benfica wonder kid Renato Sanches. The 18-year-old Portuguese U-19 has been one of the brightest youngsters plying his trade in the Portuguese league appearing on 14 occasions and finding the back of the net twice. Dubbed as the “Next Ronaldinho”, Sanches’ contract at Benfica runs until the end of 2021 season and is believed to have a £62 million release clause.
However, if reports from tabloids are to be believed, a bid in excess of €60 million could make the heads of the Benfica hierarchy turn. However, Real will have a tough competition on their hands to land the youngster with the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich tracking the youngster as well.
According to Sun, Manchester United may be the favorites to sign the player considering the potential move of Jose Mourinho into Manchester United.
