Manchester United are keen on signing Spanish player Saul Niguez, who is currently plying his trade at Atletico Madrid.
United want to confirm the move for the player in next three weeks, although, they may face competition from Arsenal. Reports suggest that Wenger too have been looking out to sign the player. However united are ahead of Arsenal in talks with the signing of Niguez.
Saul has an £18m release clause from Atletico Madrid, but Madrid unlike United can provide a champions league game for the player in February and do not want to let Niguez go from the club and want the player to stay at the Spanish capital.
Saul has averaged four defensive actions per game, whilst not making a single error. In fact, he has not made a defensive mistake in his last three Atletico seasons – reports Squawka
If the Spanish player consents to move to United he will be sharing the midfield with another Spanish duo Ander Herrera and Juan Mata. How the move to Manchester United will turn out for the player, this can only be known once the deal is done with.
